BE A PART OF IT! HAVE SOME FUN! Saturday, September 20th BOATS AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Sign up at this meeting with Randy Poppert and Dave Sellars  Come on out and enjoy a great time on the water for this annual event. The joy that we bring these folks every year will last them, as well as you, forever! You will be rewarded ten fold for the half day spent with people less fortunate than us. Put a smile on their face, and I’ll guarantee they will put a smile on yours.
UPARC (Upper Pinellas Association of Retarded Citizens) people are somewhat physically and mentally challenged, and a caregiver from UPARC will generally accompany each captain as necessary. The event will take place at Home Port Marina starting at 8 a.m. We load the boats usually by 9 a.m. and head out as a group to Three Rooker Bar and fish till 11 - 11:30 and then head in and enjoy a feast of fried chicken put on by Kiwanis Club of Clearwater. You’ll need to bring some bottled water, some diet soda, snacks (crackers, pretzels, etc.), couple rods and some squid or shrimp. Camera if you wish! Please, no flats boats. We are in need of volunteers and boats. Please sign up with Randy and Dave at the next general meeting on Wednesday, August 6th to give these special people the opportunity to enjoy a day on the water! You’ll be proud you did!!
