Click here for entire 2007 Calendar AUGUST 18, 2007 AWESOME!  This was my fourth year scalloping, but this was the first year all four of ourboats got their limit in the same spot two days in a row.  That's 24 gallons of scallops each day.  The scallops were everywhere and larger than normal this year.  We were picking up 3, 4 or 5 t a time...  once I got eight!  I even found two gallons of scallops right next to Captain Joe's boat - I can't believe he missed them.  If you couldn't make the trip, the season runs through September 10th.  Go to marker 4 out of Homosassa and head north about a mile.  This white gold is worth the trip.
