AUGUST 18, 2007 AWESOME!  This was my fourth year scalloping, but this was the first year all four of ourboats got their limit in the same spot two days in a row.  That's 24 gallons of scallops each day.  The scallops were everywhere and larger than normal this year.  We were picking up 3, 4 or 5 t a time...  once I got eight!  I even found two gallons of scallops right next to Captain Joe's boat - I can't believe he missed them.  If you couldn't make the trip, the season runs through September 10th.  Go to marker 4 out of Homosassa and head north about a mile.  This white gold is worth the trip.
